Names of those in the parish of Matlock, including Snitterton and Lea Wood, only.

At the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Association held here this Day, after having examined and allowed the Treasurer's Accounts, the Members entered into a fresh Subscription for the Ensuing Year, and the following Resolutions, viz.

Resolved. That any Person residing in any of the above Parishes, or any other adjoining Parish, who shall be desirous of entering into this Association, and shall pay Three Shillings into the Hands of the Treasurer on or before the first Day of February, be admitted a member thereof ; and that such of the present Members as are in arrear, and shall neglect paying their fill Subscription till after that Day, shall be excluded this Association.

Resolved. That the Committee (appointed at this Meeting) shall be paid by the Treasurer to Informers (not being Subscribers) for every Person who shall be convicted of any of the Offences hereinafter mentioned, that shall be committed on the Persons or Property of any of the Members of this Association, viz.

Resolved also, That the Rewards shall be paid by the Treasurer to Informers (not being Subscribers) for every Person who shall be convicted of any of the Offences hereinafter mentioned, that shall be committed on the Persons or Property of any of the Members of this Association, viz.

For every burglary or other capital Offence, } 3 3 0
For stealing any sort of Grain out of any Barn, Mill or Outbuildings
or for stealing any Bull, Ox, Cow, Calf, Heifer, Stirk, Pig or Sheep

For stealing Rabbits, Poultry, Grain, Coals, Turnips, Potatoes, or any other Sort of Garden Stuff. } 0 10 6
And for cutting or stealing any kind of Timber, or any Wood or Underwood, or stealing, or breaking of any Gates, Stiles, Boards, Planks, Posts, Rails, Hedges, or Fences, or any Iron Work belonging thereto, or stealing or damaging of any Waggon, Cart, Plough, Harrow, or any other Implements of Husbandry, or Iron Work belonging thereto ; and for any other Kind of Petit Larceny, not within the above Description, }
