Wedding party of 6, standing in front of a 1917 Model T Ford Town Car; the car year began on 1 Aug 1916. It is a
landaulette, and the driver would be in a separate cab at the front of the vehicle. Ariejan Bos notes that the vehicle has the more modern
body design of the post 1915 vehicle (i.e. a more roundish design and a differently shaped bonnet and radiator). The radiator, which was
black on this car, was often painted in the colour of the body on the 1917 models.
The gentleman on the right, who is wearing WW1 medals, appears in other images in the Archive. At present it is not clear if this
is Vernon Lamb. All of the females have shoes that were tied with ribbons. The bride and groom also feature in VLA5159.
