| Description/Historical Information: |
Chauffeur driven car, with three female passengers. The vehicle's registration number,
LH419, can just be seen between the front wheels on this photograph. The car would have been registered in the
London area.
The three passengers have shuffled themselves around in VLA4931 and VLA4936 and
there is a fourth photograph of the car and it chauffeur on VLA4942.
They were part of a group who were also photographed in the grounds of Smedley's Hydro on VLA5112.
The house on the corner was named Cliff House, Smedley Street at the time and occupied by Mr John James Wheeldon, a master butcher (1911
census and rate assessment book). |
