Description/Historical Information: |
Members of the Robertson-Aikman family, with some
of their staff. The children are possibly Margrett Georgina, William
Hamilton and Hugh Forbes Robertson-Aikman; the two boys, who were
wearing kilts, were born in Matlock. The lady with the muff, third
from the left was probably their mother. It is possible the young
woman second from the right was the governess (Violet Nora Hobbs
in 1911). The identity of the three maids is not known. |
