Description/Historical Information: |
In 1911 residents included the Bonds (Arthur was
a general labourer), the Milner family (Edward M had been a signalman
on the railway), the Hayes (John H worked on a farm), the Turners
(Willie T was a coachman), William Fawley (a gritstone cutter) and
his wife plus the road surveyor Henry Crowder and his family. |

- Henry was the uncle of George Wisher Crowder
who is commemorated
on Matlock's War Memorial on Pic Tor. George lived here with
his Aunt and Uncle Brailsford in 1901. |
