Description/Historical Information: |
A sergeant and two lance corporals with several
privates. Each has a badge over his right breast pocket.
This was the Territorial Force Imperial Service Badge and was awarded
to those who had joined UK based forces and subsequently agreed to
serve overseas. The soldier in the shirt sleeves has an unusual belt,
whose significance is unknown. |
