Description/Historical Information: |
Man in military uniform, with wife and two very young children.
The soldier has a Boer War medal pinned above his left breast
pocket and the Territorial Force Imperial Service Badge above
the right breast pocket, awarded to those who had joined UK based
forces and subsequently agreed to serve overseas. He is also
wearing a wide belt that is different from the belts of the 2/6th
Sherwood Foresters. His regiment is unknown. |
