After the unexpected death of Frederic Charles Arkwright on 18 July
1923, the Arkwright family's home in Derbyshire, Willersley Castle,
together with its estate of around 290 acres, was put up for
sale. It eventually sold in June 1927. The image above shows
the title page of the sale catalogue, advertising the contents
of the house[1].
A page at the back advertised sale of the estate.

This image is included here because of the interest of a lady called
Kate who lives on Vancouver Island. She spotted the catalogue
in a local shop and most generously sent it to sent me - which
is how the image comes to be on this site.
