The Matlock printing fim of Hodgkinson's, based
on Holt Lane, produced an Almanac for many years[1].
Here are photographic copies of selected pages from the
1945 "Almanack". Most of the advertisements are not included.
Nor are the diary pages or those with anniversaries such as the
date Queen Victoria died. Also in the almanac, but not here,
were some gardening tips, a ready reckoner and tables to calculate
what day of the week a particular date was 200 years previously.
